Located in the bustling market town of South Molton, North Devon lies a real treat for chocolate lovers. Carlo Melchior and his artisan chocolatiers have been making exquisite tasting, handmade chocolates for over 25 years.
Carlo trained in the art of chocolate making in his native Switzerland and brought his skills over to the UK where, following a successful career in the restaurant business he set up Melchior chocolates. Since then he has created an award winning business, his first award in 1993 was Henrietta Green's highly esteemed 'Best Chocolates in Britain' and more recently he was awarded silver for his champagne chocolate truffles in the 2011 Taste of the West awards.
Using only the finest ingredients from around the world from the Caribbean to the Scottish Highlands, Carlo has created an extensive range of fresh handmade mouthwatering truffles, pralines, liqueurs and glacé fruits to choose from in dark, milk and white chocolate. Carlo and his team cater for all occasions including; birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Christmas, Easter and gifts for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day.
With over 50 mouthwatering flavours to choose from including our best-selling champagne chocolate truffles, classic single malt whisky selection, fruity flavours strawberry, lemon, pear and calvados and liquid liqueurs including Navy rum, Cognac, kirsch and Cointreau.
